- Med en sønn bosatt i Stokmarknes, så ble det samvær med familien og barnebarn! Suverent vertskap for å bli kjent i traktene. Gjennom en hel uke har man altså fått en smak av steder, natur og familieliv i nord. Dette er først og fremst en tur som har skapt gode opplevelser og minner for fremtiden. Og mange blinkskudd undervegs.

Nature was exceptionally generous here. It is unique. It is awe-inspiring. It is magnificent.
They say this is every photographer's dream. I can understand why. But no one should claim that capturing great landscape photographs here is easy. Even when the palette is ready and the canvas stretches wide and open.
In fact, it proved to be quite a challenge. There is simply so much to take in. Surrounded by such vast landscapes, you can't help but feel a little small yourself.
With a son living in Stokmarknes, the trip also meant precious time with family and grandchildren. They were wonderful hosts, introducing us to the region and all it has to offer.
Over the course of a week, we experienced a taste of the places, the spectacular scenery, and everyday family life in Northern Norway. Above all, this journey created unforgettable experiences and memories that will stay with us for years to come—along with many memorable photographs captured along the way.
