"Tom Space" plays Spacerock

Now and then I make some compilations on music I listen to. Actually this one is pretty hard stuff, and shure not ambient. Be warned!!! It´s only 4 tracks, but last in about 1h22m. Really good spacerock from 2014 feat. Matmosphere, Electric Orange, Øresund space collective and Lumen Drones. (Update report: Reach No 6 on NOISE chart and No 75 on Rock chart!!)

Vernissage Dj Set and opening exhibition Helene Fjell

A compilation of some of the music I was playing at Helene Fjell opening exhibition day at Kulturhuset Promenaden in Sandefjord. (4 august 2012) Here you can hear what style I was making. A mix beetween new and old, classic and minimalistic. There was really a good opportunity for me to do this. I put music together that fits her pictures. I think this will do. And I like the challenge. Hope there will be more to do. The artistic DJ work, is something that I feel good about. Add that little special on it... DJ Mix: Jazzman

One of my most played program on mixcloudis the first Jazzman I made. So this is the follow up program. and it´s probably some of my best mixes ever. I never thought that it should be with jazz music, but it is. This one is so relaxing and lovely to listen to. It´s there!
I made the cover from my own picture, and I used a little time on this. I have made a double CD box inside a DVD cover. I will send this out to my customers that hire me as a DJ. An exclusive box. This is a cool one. A Dj mix set with chill techno ?! Yes. You can either listen to it or dance to it. It´s not so hard as No 4. But it´s deep, nu-disco, sort of.. Enjoy. Always use a lot of time to find music. I think there`s must be work into making this Dj set, before it can be good. Well: I use a lot of time to find the right songs, that fit together in a mix. It´s not about the same BPM. It´s about music I like. And how to present the songs. Enjoy.

I just had to do this web program. Listen to so much different music, I think it was about time to make a jazz - fusion program.
It was also fun to make a jingle for jazzman. I need to have one, and I put the opening jingle together in about 1 hour. 18 seconds of jazzman jingle. This has been an interesting day.

I just say this once: Had some leftovers in my music making, and I did this EP. End of story.
And there`s nothing to be ashamed about. Even not the name. Hehe. Maybe this album would live it`s own life. That`s what I hope.

Open Road by Tom Bretson

ıt´s a magical hypnotic ambient chillout song that i made yesterday. There is something to it, that is worth listening more than one time. But of course, I made this and I´m proud of Open road. Listen to the song on the post under here.
I`m am going to make a cd now, with help from friends. Probably release date will be in january 2011.
I also change my Dj Loco name to Tom Bretson. (Short for Tom Ståle Engebretsen) Better as an artist name I think. There will be another post coming up about this later.

"Skogen" is norwegian for Forest. This is a Trip Hop song that I am proud of. It sounds good, and is maybe the best song from my "Musikkdager i Flatdal" There is also a long version of this song. A kind of long intro. Maybe for a concert in the future?!...

The Dream By Dj Loco

Tribute to Tangerine Dream. One of my early favorites. Proud that I actually composed and play all stuff here by myself. (except loop drums) Remember that i`m new into making music. 1 year now! Never touched any instrument before. Think this is going well. Dreaming of doing a really long melody, with this inspiration... It do sound like T-Dream?
